i was thinking also of adding a Cpu heatsink to the top (using thermal tape)
And connect the cpu fan(that comes with the heatsink) to a usb port. I know it will run on 5v but

.- what i have always wondered is this.
When i changed the thermal paste 1 year ago , i had the cover off , and the ps3 shut down twice while gaiming.( the fans were at lv 3 gear)
The power supply chassis was extremelly hot it even burned my hand

BUT when i put the cover on, i finished Ninja gaiden sigma, without a single problem. and the fans never got loud and the air coming from the back was hot, wich tells me that the thermal paste change was done correctly (artic silver 5 on little dot)

that's why i suspect that the power supply must be cooling from the Ps3 internal fan.
Anyone can confirm this?
