Hi Again;
will till now i have downgraded 11 PS3, using both ProgSkeet and E3-Linker.
but i had problems with 2 PS3s in the De-Hashing process while using the E3-Flasher. the two PS3s are 3.56 OFW from Factory with "Date Code 0D" but can be downgraded to 3.50.
The Downgrade process went fine, but the De-hashing not. i can go up to 37% of the update and then give me an error 8002F1F9 and it is going in loops. i managed to fix one using Service mode and RSOD fix but the controller has to be connected via USP to work the wireless disconnect after 15 minutes of turning on the PS3. the other one is still in the 8002F1F9 error loop and trying to fix it.
i had a third PS3 with the same model and Downgraded it with the "ProgSkeet" without a problem and works like charm.
if any one has advice regarding this issue please help
Thanx
just a thought but these drives do actually work dont they?
they did play dvd's and bdvd games before you started?

if you have another ps3 then can you swap the drives (obviously change the drive boards as you do it)
and see if the drives work in anothere ps3 as it might be that they are faulty.

they need to be working for the update & qa flag & re-marry to work

and as they all fail it points to a faulty drive
