There are good things happening for the scene, how come you are disappointed with anything? Are you a scener? Or a consumer appreciating whatever is thrown at you? Sceners has built new stuff, RSXGL is a nice library, people are starting to play around with it and eventually I hope there will be Amiga-style demos showing up, perhaps also new tools.

I’d say pirates care about pirate stuff.
Homebrewers cares about homebrew.
Merchants like TB cares about making money.
