Never taken apart a Ps3 or something. That's with the heat dissipators taken off. And, yes, there is heat paste under there. The CELL looks crazy with it's heat dissipators off.
Edit: this isn't the first device I've seen with diagonal processor. Some newer PCs come with the processors tilted better cooling or something. Also I wonder if this Ps3 will be vulnerable to swap tricks since I bet I could gerry rig the sensor so say it's always shut.
