Yeah my last post was sort of long winded. In a nutshell, copying the trophy folder doesn't work! What will work and is still working after 7 chapters with different characters, is the following.

1 Download the res evil 6 1.01 update with ps3gameupdater
2 Extract with pkgview
3 Go into the extracted BLES01465 update folder- go into USRDIR
4 Delete the native PS3 folder, leaving only the eboot,
5 Build your fix via psn_package_npdrm method through the cmd window
6 Install newly made fix on PS3 and unicorns!!!

Yes by removing nativePS3 folder from the update it is now actually an "empty" update with only icons param.sfo and an eboot.
I've been trying this trick with other games with mixed results:

-PES2012 works as described above ( 15mb 1.06 update )
-NFS the run doesn't work as described above (256mb 1.03 update)

I gotta go earn some dough so i'll test more tonight.

I don't use DEX game mounter myself, but it sounds like your trying to boot the game through multiman? It brings you back to xmb you try to play the game.
TRhe game should be in XMB when you start ps3, like a regular disc

You need to have a BD emu HDD formatted usb or flash drive with BD emu partitions on it. Once you've build the .emu image onto that usb or flashdrive and installed the .pkg fix for the game then and only then will it boot.

If you have the retail disc it should start from xmb like the olden days haha
