So those games that require a bd disc in the drive such as Heavy Rain, GOW3 would need to be tested with the BDEMU External HDD method. I've seen users posting on and older thread that God of War 3 works fine via BDEMU, so in that case yeah... your busted blu ray drive wouldn't be a problem.

Really this is good to know, thank you. I don't follow the scene as much these days so i must've missed this. Anywais there's no point in staying on CEX at this point i guess. I'll keep the slim on CEX tough. I have plenty hard drive space to play with on my fat with 500GB scorpio blue.
