That's exactly the reason. Nintendo doesn't want to pay royalty fees to $ony. Nor should they. Nobody's going to miss out on Blu-ray when you can fit 25 gigs on a disk.

DEFAULTDNB , I don't know if you've seen this yet but it's a video that's been leaked on the web. Nobody knows where it came from. There's lot's of speculation as to whether or not this is fake. Personally, I think it's real because fan made video's just don't have this type of quality. The other speculation is whether it will be released for Wii-U or 3DS. I think it's obviously Wii-U. Anyways, check it out. I found it to be pretty mind blowing if it is real...
