That means the PS3 sold as many 360s around the globe in a lot less time.
This is even more astonishing, when you recall that the 360 hardware has 60% failure rate (in the UK, should be about the same everywhere else), and stories about people having to buy 2-3 360s aren't rare. So, if you were to go per household, ps3 might be the winner by a comfortably wide margin.

I am one of the lucky few whose 360 hasn't broken down yet. Probably because I don't play it very often, as time to just sit down and play games is rare these days. But would it kick the bucket, then I would either have to give up all the game licenses I have purchased through their live service, or just empty my wallet for another console, as warranty has long expired.
