All you need I think is a lv0.self that has a retarded long header.... flash it to ps3... reboot system hangs..... or even an lv0.self from a higher firmware...and put it on a lower firmware....the wrong lv0.self on a firmware it doesn't belong will try all sorts of system calls and verification calls... a ps3 dex in debug boot will log/dump all this info... a duel nor/nand would be used to flip it back to the correct one so that the log/dump can be retrieved... people were not able to do this 6 months ago because dex capable unit at the time didn't really exist.. the problem with this is re-flashing just the lv0 back without re-flashing everything and losing the dump.....
