I'm also using version EUR with V 1.0 Eboot from Nodrm and the latest patch V 1.6 too.
The same problem here with the multi-save (stage 2 of 3 freezes the ps3) and also a different bug/Glich in the beginning of Episode 3 part 2 in Sunleth Waterscape 300 AF ,when you have to fight a giant red flan but you're not strong enough to beat it and have to travel through time to weaken it , in this part i did everything to weaken the boss ,but every time i try to come back to Sunleth Waterscape 300 AF ,the stage begins all over again and if a try to fight the flan the game just freezes again.

i've heard there is a fix for these freezes,i'm going to try this torrent
(Final Fantasy XIII 2 PS3 DUPLEX with CFW EBOOT AND FREEZE FIX) and i hope it fixes these problems.
