This is good news in my opinion. These lawsuits are mainly filed in an attempt to make some quick money. Can anyone explain to me, or show me a case where someone was so affected by the PSN hack that they need tons of money to cover the damage that they recieved? I havnt seen a single case like this, so why are they entitled to a huge amount of money? This has little to do with consumers rights, it is about a civil lawsuit.

Class action lawsuits are sometimes filed to punish the companies financially. This can be a good thing. But Sony lost over $170 million dollars if i'm not mistaken on this PSN hack, not to speak about hits to their reputation. I dont see why extra civil lawsuits on top of this is needed.

How it is a win if it hurts the developers the most?
