I think going by date code would be far more exact then just "CECH-2501A"
There are multiple 25xx's for slims, and the "01" in the example above only means "us/canada" so people asking if a "CECH-250
8A" would work could be asking about :
Russia, Ukraine, India, Central Asia 120gb or 160gb, JTP-001, 3.40
Russia, Ukraine, India, Central Asia 120 or 160gb, JSD-001, 3.40-3.50
or
The Russia, Ukraine, India, Central Asia 160gb JTP-001 with 3.60 min praxis....
Using date codes in addition might narrow it down?
