if you think they didnt know about the vulnerability then you are fooling yourself perhaps I was reading between the lines, they say it was a know vulnerability but they didnt know about it. Thats inexcusable and unbelievable literally especially as if I recall they were informed by a third parties about it...
“The vulnerability was a known vulnerability, one known of in the world. But Sony was not aware of it... was not convinced of it,” was actually a quote from an interview not an oficial statement my mistake.
They were trying to save face by not admitting to the possibility of lost information untill they confirmed it so they could avoid it if possible which is irresponcible and speaks of placing themselves over consumers personal info.
Anyway thats all I have to say about it each person needs to make up their own mind.
