I dont think there is a fool proof way to tell
To be sure you are ok to do whatever: just dehash (install QA toggle, enter qa combo to verify its working, reinstall 3.55 via recovery, done) and then dont worry about it.

I installed Rogero's CFW 4.21 on my PS3 I didn't downgrade to 3.55 I had Kmeaws 3.55 on it. Now I get PS error 80029519 when I start Comgenie's Awesome file manager for 4.21 and 80010017 when I try to run any other homebrew. any ideas on whats going on?
