I have actually HAD to restore my database 3 times.
Ok so I said I was done but something just happened.
I went back to 4.25-3.55, did the QA, and installed KMEAW.
As the ps3 was checking for the firmware during the kmeaw setup I heard the disc drive and realized I left the disc in from the multiman tests.
I quick ejected the disc and it continued to read and found the kmeaw setup.
I installed kmeaw smoothly but now my disc drive seems to not read. It ejects and feeds the disc but the ps3 doesn't do anything.
Is this savable or did my year-old disc drive just die?
I bought it almost exactly 1 year ago!
OK correction.
The disc reads in multiman. It recognizes what disc is in there, just there is no disc icon anywhere on the XMB
