Personal preference /end thread.
If you're aware of your choices then the only people who would need a thread like this are people who get their partner to slice their toast in the morning into little strips to go with their boiled egg.
Edit....I'll go into bit more detail for the ignorant.
1. Stay on 3.55
Have to wait for fixes by the likes of Duplex and so on, likely not all games will be fixed.
Updates WON'T be fixed - that's quite a big deal for some like me.
No brick risk of updating to dodgy new CFW
All games that work now, will continue to work.
No PSN, any "solution" will likely be short term.
2. Update to 4.xx CFW
New games will simply just work, updates will work. Not at mercy of warez release groups for fixes, no need to wait - just play.
Risk of brick if you upgrade - only seems to be a problem in the short term, in a few days that situation will likely not be an issue at all.
New features from newer firmware. - useful\not useful? You decide.
PSN Access - The big one
....I'd say it's completely retarded to make a blanket statement that staying on 3.55 is the way to go, because each person wants different things and should be able to make their own mind up. Personally, will be updating to a 4.xx CFW as soon as I'm satisfied that the update will be no more risky than a normal system software update. Which I assume will be over the coming day or two.
Edit - It would have been nice if you yourself made this comparison yourself in the OP, then there might actually be something to talk about.
