As said you have to downgrade to 3.55 first, so you will need to buy a flasher.
Then, since you have a flasher now, you can install whatever you want, cos if it goes wrong you now have a flasher to fix it; assuming you make a nor/nand backup before you start.
Of course if instead you buy a second hackable and on 3.55 ps3 console, come back next week and we'll have a better idea if the 4.21 cfw is stable for everyone to use.
Again, you need to be on 3.55, obviously not read all kinds of stuff to not know that.
