I never understood that analogy, as if taking a **** takes that long you have the time to read a magazine? I guess some peoples bowels move a lot slower than others. I've never brought it on myself to take in reading material though.
Maybe the GBA or PSP however (if I was already playing). =D
In answer to the OP, I haven't bought one in years (full price) but I recently got a 6 month Gamesmaster subscription from my CokeZone points and a GamesTM subscription for something like £1 for 3 magazines from an online deal. I actually ended up getting another free before they stopped sending them.
