if i am in service mode, and i turn down the ps3 using the power button on the front, i go to standby, and when i turn it on again i'm still in service mode right. (tried that allready).
but when i switch the ps3 completely off with the switch in the back, is that ok? , because i could now safely switch the drives and turn the ps3 on to re-marry it.
i use the remarry-3.55 , and the 3.30 OFW, my usb looks like this:
cfg/standalone.cfg (cfg is a folder)
FactoryServiceMode.gnpdrm.pkg <-- to get into service mode
fdm_spu_module.self
Lv2diag.self
manufacturing_updater_for_reset.self
PS3UPDAT.PUP >-- 3.30 OFW
on a side note, my drive's ribbon cable that i test this on is missing one connection, the 3,3V ever. (this 3,3V is normally always on, in standby and on mode)
according to the schematics it is used to power the photoled, but due to the missing of this line, the ps3 won't eject a disc or insert one, for the rest it is working properly, an there is a game inside.
and also since i have all files allready on the usb, when i enter service mode it will run the remaary process right away....
i need some help
