undo any eboot fix you applied, revert to untouched eboot.bin/param.sfo etc, start game, when it asks you to update to 1.02 you can if you want (should work on 4.x CFW)

i havent applied any fix but i did change the param.sfo so ill change back to original and try that do you have a link for the update as i cant get online with my ps3 unless you know a way that i can get on with one of those usb mobile broardband modems
