@baileyscream knows absolutely best in this situation, so I have found a similar thread with a lot of his wisdom (in red is his answer to the problem):

heres the story:
i got a used slim with 3.55cfw but i wasnt sure which cfw. it just had a PsHAX coldboot. I was told that it was downgraded before and cant install any other cfw. Ive heard that it IS in fact possible but you have to dehash you system first with rebugs toggle qa, so i tried it and followed the directions and proceeded to install kmeaw afterwards.
for anyone else at this point first try the key combo to see if QA flag has actually been installed (if it has then putting it on is actually turning it off)
if the key combo doesnt do anything then install QA flag and check its active by doing the key combo (if still nothing happens this is the point to ask for help)

the install went to about 35% then bricked. now the system wont boot.....and i dont mean the green light no audio/video/recovery brick. mine doesnt even stay on for more than 5 seconds. it goes from the red standby light to green (with no activity) and then shuts off after 5 seconds and all the lights go off. no red standby or anything.if i hit the power button again, the red light turns back on and im back in standby mode. and the cycle just repeats.
this is called a De-hash fail
the downgrade hashes are still in the system and it is now in a panic (i suspect like you are )

i used memdump to make a backup or my nor before just in case, and i also have an E3 flasher. ive only used the E3 once and that was to downgrade my friends system a long time ago. i didnt know that E3 could only be used on 1 console. E3 made that samsung fix, but im guessing that i have to update it with the first system (which is impossible because my friend sold it).
no your safe you can update to the multi console update when your E3 is in your ps3 (i suspect your panic is now fading )

on top of that, the e3 dump checker says i have a bad dump or wrong format (can i convert it?).
ok right now delete that bloody usless E3 dump checker
its more harm than good. it doesnt check everything that needs checking and you have a 85% chance of bricking if you trust it so BIN IT

i keep reading about soldering the tristate to the sbe to prevent the system from turning off, but i think thats only for when the system shuts down while dumping the nor.
nope its for dual booting and this situation so you need to solder it

so basically this is what i understand so far:
i need to solder and use the e3 to prevent the ps3 from shutting down, but since the e3 was already used on another system, i need to apply the e3 samsung fix so i can use it on multiple systems, but that has to be done from a system that actually STAYS ON for longer than 5 secs (if not the actual system it was originally used on).
once the tristate is soldered to sbe it will halt the system (it wont boot any further or shut down) nb if it does shut down then just solder tristate to a gnd point

is this all accurate? someone please tell me im wrong and theres a way around it. Rogero, if youre reading this, I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. i did all this cuz i wanted the install the new 4.30cfw. please, anyone out there, im clueless and any help is appreciated. thanks to all in advance.
after the above in red and your system has halted. update the E3 with the muli console update and do a dump of your nor
then verify it and then patch it (your treating it as though your downgrading) then put the ps3 into fsm and downgrade to 3.55 rogero
then QA flag
then de-hash with 3.55 genuine (NOT CFW) firmware
now you should have 3.55 boot as normal.
go relax. have a drink.
follow my guide for the downgrade:-

I hope you can relate to this and you can figure it out. I have very little knowledge of flashers.
