Hello Ps3hax.net

I've been on Kmaew CFW for 3.55 for the past year or so, lost my PS3 controller so never bothered to do anything with the console, it just sat there collecting dust.

Assassins Creed III came out and suddenly I decided I'd go buy a new controller and get to work.

I've still got most of the old files as I've not been around the scene at all in the past year.

Okay, so I've been getting problems, someone will click inside of the console, could be the Hard drive, I don't know, just a feint click then the console will completely shut down, cutting all power and displaying no lights.

I then need to disconnect the Power cable from the back of the console and reconnect it, then the red light will display and I can then play again, it keeps doing this, every five to ten minutes and I don't even get enough time to move over the game, let alone play it.

What could be causing this? Could having an outdated CFW be messing my console up, I've been seeing A LOT about this new "4.21" CFW but I don't really know if I need to.

So there's my issue, hope someone here can help me, I'm not really wanting to reformat my PS3 but as long as I don't need to update to the latest firm ware and that this is not a hard ware issue because I seriously hope it is not I'll be happy, thanks for reading.
