I doubt one would say completely different, they probably have to make quite a number of changes though, and do so using preprocessor directives. That's how we commonly write programs designed to be compiled on multiple OS's. So it depends on which mods(if any) are designed to be platform specific. It's possible that they have very little to do with the platforms, as dlc rarely changes the actual games themselves, but essentially add files for the game engine to read and use. E.g. adding a weapon to a game doesn't change what the game does, but changes what you see and how you act.
