I could be totally wrong but does anyone else think we're tweaking things in the wrong place? since the eboot itself displays the corrupt savedata message, I would think they tweaked whatever it is in the disc eboot and not the update pkg eboot (possibly both though?) I decrypted the disc eboot and opened it up in a hex editor and I'm looking at line 00739D00 and it says:

Patch boot......HDD boot........Disc boot...........t6_ps3f.self....t6mp_ps3f.self..cellPadGetInfo: abnormal termination

I'm not sure if this is just normal error handling or not but I figured I'd see if it means anything since t6_ps3f.self and t6mp_ps3.self are the other files that are patched and they're followed by "abnormal termination." maybe they made it so that if it detects being booted from hdd it'll crash or it terminates the .selfs which displays the message or something; I duno just thinking out loud.
