Not really......I have two boys and as much as I stay on their arses to keep the games put up when not playing them and keeping them clean, they still do not do a very good job. There are roughly 8-10 PS3 games that we have that do not work. The discs have scratches, not even deep, and no longer work......there is 2 games that have a hair-line crack where the hole is and it doesn't even register in the console.

Their best record so far is 35 minutes with Lego Batman 2 and light scratches on one side of the disc.......freezes within minutes of loading the game.

Bluray discs are not hard to mess up.
