Gave the PS3 a manual fixed IP and changed the DNS settings on the PS3 to the IP of a local network PC running ver 1.1 of F*ckPSN . Tried connecting to the PSN and voila it did connect and was working great. I installed all the updated (till xxx.123) of COD MW3 with the cracked EBOOT patches and voila....the MW3 connected too and I was able to play it online......but it all happened a day ago on 30th-Oct-12. Was not able to play for a day till yesterday and today when nothing has been changed literally, the PS3 is now not able to connect to PSN. Dont know what could be the reason, everything else is just the same, the only thing which came to my mind was that the spoof needs to be run again when I turn off the PS3, but it seems like the spoof is a permanent modification to the firmware version as evident in the PS3 system settings. Even after a power off/on , without running the SKG pkg again , the system still tells me it is ver 4.30. So the spoof pkg works in a toggle way, which will not revert to the original version untill the pkg file is executed again. Thats the maximum I could have done to recheck all the settings which worked the merry way for me a day ago. Yeah I know 4.31 came a day ago, but in the release notes, it is said that it is an optional upgrade. Keeping my fingers crossed for any guidance from a guru to make it work again, maybe for an updated version of SKG and F*ckPSN , which hopefully live a longer life. ==================================================== Apparently a new Spoof PKG ver 4.31 has been released by team SKG.
