PS3Hax Network - Playstation 3 Hacks and Mods - View Single Post - PS3 only displays 480p on LCD! Need help!

Hey guys, I've looked everywhere, googled a whole lot of sites with this same problem. My PS3 worked perfectly displaying 1080p on my LCD, about 2 months ago when I went to turn it on, it didnt display anything. Had to get my RCA cables to finally get an image and try to setup the HDMI connection again. For my luck, it only displays 480p, every time I try to set the resolution manually to 720,1080i or 1080, theres no signal on the LCD and it goes back to the 480p. Tried other HDMI cables, other LCDs, did a full restore of the PS3 system and updated to the latest OFW, all of this with no avail. So I'm posting this here hoping I can get some help from you guys.
