I wanted to make a E-sata connector on my PS3 using the internal sata connector to connect bigger drives. When I suggested it I was told by @euss that the size for internal was limited to 1Tb in the firmware...

So a 2Tb won't work as far as I know. The 1.5Tb drive I used wasn't recognized at all so I put the project on halt to check later again ...
