Depending on position of that switch, a green LED on that PCB is either on or off (try it, to test FPGA & correct BitStream on ProgSkeet main PCB).

If the switch is in the position where by the Green LED is OFF, then you have selected the PRIMARY memory bank, use the /CEa connections to chip select the FLASH.

If the switch is in the position where by the Green LED is ON, then you have selected the SECONDARY memory bank, use the /CEb connections to chip select the FLASH.

My understanding is this MAY also be a way of using the ProgSkeet to select on-board FLASH / off-board custom FLASH when using the PS3 (Hence the rather long ribbon cables).
