it is powered by 3.3V ever (always on) , the rest of the drive is using differen power lines.

Awesome. I did some research on this particular problem and narrowed it down to either that ribbon cable or the drive sensor BL1-012 (the chip with the switches that has the red/black wires.) Apparently the sensor is really sensitive to drops. In this case, maybe the package got tossed around too much
Gonna try out your ribbon cable first and hope that does it. If not, it has to be that sensor.
