well i do appreciate your tireless work rogero is this true this is a final release? Can you or someone who understands explain why restarts of the console are required after installing pkg? i imagine this is just a precaution...i do not like this issue and personally will stay on 4.21 rex due to this...also is ps2 original disc playable on bc consoles using this cfw? thanks!
samtara so far i see no advantage for dex firmware unless dev but to be honest if it is a wish to have this ability you might want to look into 4.21 rex since it allows for loading dex firmware dumps from memory...otherwise to me it is cfw all the way to my knowledge you do not need to qa dev claims this can be installed via xmb though you may want to do from recovery/disconnect net just to be safe i guess someone earlier accidently updated to sony ofw using the xmb while online...
