Hi, youre right about the dreaded "samsung" model and yes it was on RSOD ofw 4.21, downgraded it through E3 flasher with E3 usb (recovery mode update says 3.55 or above update) still RSOD, tried to update ofw 3.55 (bricked recovered by e3) and cfw 3.55 but it seems like its skipping starting from 41% to 100% update, RSOD on start up. Can't go to FSM with Lv2diag.self alone in order to run the fix, is that right? Do I need NOTHEROS PUP to succesfully update it? The PUP has been removed in download section (mediafire).

Let me make sure I got this right. So, you recovered the brick and now it is on 3.55 cfw? So does it ask for 3.55 now when you go to recovery menu? To get into fsm, you need to put the e3 card reader downgrade.bin in the upgrader folder of the e3 card reader USB. Then put it in the console and pull power completely, replace power, hit power then eject. Console should shut itself off, then put the rsod fix lvl2diag ona USB and put it on a blank USB and put in right USB port and turn on console. It should beep and then restart and boot up to regular ps3 menu. If it doesn't work, and the console asks for 3.55 when in recovery mode, then put the norsod.pup on a USB in the folders PS3/UPDATE and make sure the file is renamed to PS3UPDAT.PUP , and put it in the right USB port and click update. It will ask you to hit start select, follow the on screen instructions. After it updates, it should boot to regular ps3 menu, then you can install the .pkg fix and run it.
