Just make sure you get valid dumps before doing any flashing. VERY IMPORTANT!
New clips can be a pain to get connected good. You may have to modify your clip some and use something to put even, constant pressure on it.
Take a look at this sticky thread, to get some ideas, if you have trouble.
P.S. - Thanks guys. I'm just glad to help users to not brick their PS3s. Broken PS3s make me sad, and is why I keep buying broken ones and bring them back to life.
