Because I like to do stuff the right way.
I don't want to risk an
OVEN fix. Since it will probably mess it up worse. I have done a couple oven fixes in the past. Some go good, some don't.
I want to heat up just the RSX chip. Maybe even reball it, so it will be more of a permanent fix. I don't want to cook the whole board. If you get in the habit of cooking your motherboard like a pizza, you won't have a working PS3 anymore.
