Another reason to have a PS3 connected to a CRT TV is if a kid owns it. Kids are messy and easily knock things over. I knoe a person who ended up buying a crt cos teh kid knocked over and broke the lcd he had in his bedroom. Pretty hard to knock over a crt TV though.
