i think my screwed up my E3 flasher with the update.bin file.... if flash it back on i wonder if it will still work
aka i think i bricked the E3 Flasher
the one i downloaded from the site is this one : 2011.11.22 upgrade - does 3 bios back ups.
there is this one also : 2012.01.05 update - but it is for dual boot i don't want it
and there is this one : 2011.10.14 upgrade - an older one i found some were on the ps3devwiki.
but is there a difference as you can see there is files named "update" and "upgrade" maybe this were I'm going wrong
but the actual file name is update.bin for all of them
and yea i have E3 Clip on now with tristate soldered on fully secured equal pressure.

using the 2011.11.22 upgrade file
to update the E3 Flasher i get 8 glowing blue lights
but then the guide tells me to press the button underneath the cable
and it says the 0 lights suppose to be on but i get 1 glowing blue light and it's the 7th one = 00000010
i really don't get what I'm doing wrong hare i can't even upgrade the E3 Flasher! and on reboot i get those 4 glowing Christmas light motion. usaly when you turn it on it suppose to be 0 lights on besides the power and the green ones - no blue but i get 4 blue.

This is all done with the E3 Clip now and there is nothing wrong with the clip.

now when i try to back up i get 10001110 = Failed to erase PS3 BIOS and its not even erasing it's suppose to back up - this makes no sence
this is the same log i am getting from the clip that from the E3 linker:
start logging...
backup PS3 BIOS.
fail to initialize PS3 BIOS.
start logging...
backup PS3 BIOS.
fail to initialize E3 Nor.
after the upgrade of 2011.10.14 upgrade then bios update and i get that log
so what is all this is the E3 NOR Flasher the thing in the HDD Slot Fried? MB is fine Clip is fine I'm Guessing in the E3 NOR Flasher is totaled
