The Everdrive 64 works great. Use the latest firmware for it and you're set, it's loaded every rom I've thrown at it
Granted, going this route is a little pricey, but you could virtually run every N64 game the way they were intended to be played without using emulation of any kind.

I just recently went on an eBay bender and bought a heap of N64 games for peanuts (banjo kazooie & jet force Gemini for £4! Bargain!) I figured it's cheaper and quicker to buy the titles I want to play than buy a flash cart like everdrive64, or wait for this emu.
