Black ops 1 is natively 3.50.
If you need updates and such you could always download them from here:
http://yifan.lu/psn/ (enter the gameID: forexample BLUS123456), install it through instal packages, transfer the eboot/sprx/self's to pc, resign with trueancestor or dark eboot fixer, transfer back to ps3 and profit.
Or just search 3.55 fixed black ops updates. I'm sure
