From what ive read the gunman had no criminal record..... I do know for certain that in the Colorado shootings the gunman had no criminal record.
Let's not forget about 9/11 2001. There were no guns involved and nearly 3,000 people were killed. In fact now they have air marshals with guns to counter that from happening again.
