You can put people in prison for life which is the same as banning them. Banning them from society. Or you can impose the dea penalty on them, which is banning them from life. What we can't do is try to prevent this stuff from happening, but how? That's the hard part. Simply getting rid of guns or other weapons won't do the trick, cause some crazy person can still bash a bus load of kids head in with a rock. Bottom line is, this world is a really bad place. Evil lurks around every corner. More often than not, crazies show no signs to the public eye of being crazy. Look at all the pediphiles out there. They are more often than not someone you would have never guessed. All you can do in this world is keep an eye out for fishy things, and protect you and yours as best you can. I stand by what I was saying above, and I can also see what you are saying aswell. Crazy world we live in here. Nice to discuss these issues either way.

Like you said, you can never stop them from getting a gun. You have never felt the need, because you have never been in that situation. You would definetly feel the need if some crazy was harming you or your family and you needed to stop them. Im guessing you don't have a wife and kids? If you did, just seeing crazy stuff like this happen, and the simple fact of wanting to keep your family safe......I assure you that you would feel the need.

Same as above. Bad people will always be around. No stopping that. If some crazy person breaks in my house and tries to rape and kill my family, this hand gun I got here has got an excellent purpose. Yes, it is to kill, but it is also a necessity or else I get to watch my wife get raped and my kid get slaughtered. Then what will I say? " we'll, if I had only had some way to Stop this person from doing This to my family. But I didnt because I am against people having guns. Oh well."

I understand my statement was rash, but think about it. So we get rid of all guns because there primary use is for killing someone. Now some crazy doesn't have that to help him slaughter a ton of people. So he just goes around with this chainsaw which is primarily for cutting trees. If some guy came at you with a chainsaw, and you had no gun, what would you do? Punch him to death? Maybe try to get close enough to stab him? Or hope someone calls the police because they are the only person aloud to have guns now that we banned them? Don't know about where you live, but in my area....by the time the cops got there, you could fill a trash dumpster with body parts from the chainsaw crazed man. Sorry, I don't trust none but me to protect my family
