Well, that is your problem. You need to use some very strong tape. I use duct tape on top of scotch tape. Put thumb on back side of mobo and use the bottom of my screwdriver to apply pressure, and put tape down around the clip good.
Then tape some foam or coins or something on top of the clip. Not too much that the mobo doesn't fit on the heat sinks good. I then put the metal casing and screws back together.
I usually get good connections first try. But like I said, some are stubborn. And there is no way holding it with your finger will work, with stubborn ones.
