Because I would have to data transfer from the jailbroken slim PS3 to the phat PS3, could I switch the hard drives around? My phat only has a 40GB HDD which is no where near enough space that I need. :/ Just wondered in case they contain different sorts of hard drives.

The hard drives can be used in phat or slim consoles.......they are the same 2.5 SATA)
Just switch the hard drive from the slim to the phat then downgrade the slim afterwards.
