The only thing I have seen PS3Jig work with is, with a PSP 1000 phat model on 5.50 GEN D3.
I have used mine on over 200 PS3s. So I know that setup will work.
But I have not seen one person get it to work on a 2000 model. And it definitely won't work on a higher firmware than 5.50.
