First off you DO need to give more information. What model PS3 is it?
Secondly Stay the hell off PSN/SEN with modded PS3s, Yes you will get banned.
Is there a way to play online with MFW and not get caught? well in the words of a very intelligent person "Playing online on 3.55 just fine, call of duty all the time" (not exact quote), but yeah that's from someone very intelligent.
