one thing i hate about cloud gaming is that you don't physically own your copy of the game (for when you want to play @ anytime even w/o an internet connection) but i think console's this past generation and the last (ps2/xbox/gc era) have all sorts of problems with the advent of using a mechanical hdd (I guess you could say the same with a pc) sure they load faster than a disc but if consoles went back to the old days of no hdds/discs...I personally think they would be much sturdier and last way longer.... (this is where cloud gaming can be useful) You dont have to worry about lost data/corruption..... (@ least if nothing happens to the cloud) or a worn out lens... Call me crazy but i feel like consoles released during the 16 bit era and down lasted way longer with fewer technical problems of consoles/pcs of the mid ninties- till now
