I beg to differ
The original PS3 Sixaxis controllers, (no dualshock) when hitting a wall used to have the triggers R1/R2/L1/L2 buttons snap out the easiest, harder hits would usually snap the plastic at the back where you hold it would usually break aswell
The newer, dualshock controllers, held out better where you hold it due to a slight strength improvement where the vibrators are. So the stronger vibrators helped strengthen the controller, but the problem with the triggers and back panels still exist.
The PS2 controllers were stronger all around and took a lot more hits before breaking.
I've thrown many controllers before :-P
