I think what people are mostly missing with all this gun control stuff is that guns dont kill people,people kill people and that making all these laws and regulations about gun control is useless cause no matter how strict you make them the criminal WILL ALWAYS ACQUIRE a gun in the US easy weather from drug deals threw the border to crooked cops in the department and not because of "The Second Amendment" at all so to take away guns (yours and my only protection from these criminals) from the innocent will only lead to the inevitable (easy rape, easy robbery, easy home invasion, easy kidnapping and easy murder, etc.) with no protection from any of this because your not allowed to have a gun. unfortunately with this country it will never be like other countries to a point that even police wont have to carry because its mostly of our laws/punishment from crimes committed with guns that should be looked at. If there was much stricter/severely punishment for crimes involving guns would make a huge difference.
And for the situation of the kids doing this crap in schools is not the "2nd amendment's" fault nor the entertainment industries (video games, movies etc.) fault hell I grew up in the projects watching violent/slasher films and played the violent games from the beginning NES to PS3 and I never committed any crime aside of speeding (maybe now they will blame need for speed for that crime LOL) but jokes aside it just boils all down to go old fashion parenting skills and school faculty paying attention to stuff that goes on in schools like bullying/harassment because when everyone was looking at these kids that pull the trigger in the schools and deemed them as monsters and video game corrupted kids no one stopped to look and punish the kids that bullied and pushed them to the edge of no return because these kids are popular or in the "in crowed" so no one questions them.
So simply put --- Harsher punishment for crimes with guns involved.
Parents be better involved with there kids and not have the nanny raise them.
and other parents stop letting your kids bully other kids just because your kid is popular.
