not to mention that at that time our government represenatives were the Brits, not the democratically elected officials of today

and if the government really wanted to "come after us", who here has the fire power to go against the United States Military?

Im a gun "fan", but we need stricter laws. Its too easy to get guns, legally or otherwise. Most importantly we have to stop killing each other, every problem doesnt need to be solved with a shootout.
