you have a slim ps3, if you want to measure for the 5V, then also put the probe on the most right white wire, you can put the balck one on any metal part i think, because most parts are connected to ground.

else put the black probe on the one next to the red probe.

if you think there's a problem with your power/eject board then have it unplugged, and try to start the ps3 with a synced controller , or if your drive is empty, just insert a game, and it should turn on....

...that is, if the power supply is fine.
so i would suggest to first measure for 5V output.
