never got that far the first time i applied the clip the ps3 turned on then shut back off no power to the E3 flasher so i took the clip off and reapplied it again and thats when the flasher light up like it was suppose to and so did the ps3 for5 seconds then the eject light started blinking then it powers off and i gotta hit the power button for the red light to reappear

I personally believe you have damaged the nor chip legs. Their is a pic on the ps3devwiki of a damaged nor. Please have a look over at the wiki and have a good close look at your nor legs and see if they look the same as a damaged nor displayed at the wiki. It's just my opinion so don't take it for granted. But I think you might have applied pressure on the clip when not seated properly. Hopefully I'm wrong but please check that out.
